Case Studies

Since our formation, we have built up very strong expertise in all the market areas that
we serve. In order to respect the confidentiality of our clients we are not in a position to publish full details of these cases but the following will give a flavour of what we have
done and WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU.

• Kayfoam – Woolson:

  • Since 2005, we have regularly and at short notice, translated documents and manuals with a word count in excess of one quarter of a million into five different languages including Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian.
• Pensions Ombudsman:
  • We have translated a thirty thousand word Annual Report and Case Digest into Irish easily meeting a one week turnaround target.
• St. Vincent’s Hospital:
  • This year (2007) we translated a selection of medical brochures
    and leaflets into a number of languages, again easily meeting the two week turnaround target.
• An Garda Siochana:
  • Following a murder in Clones area, Co. Monaghan, in 2005 we provided five Lithuanian interpreters to the station within 30 minutes of a request.
  • We regularly receive requests to translate statements given in native languages and dialect into English and vice-versa. This is generally completed within two hours of the request.
  • Following a murder in the Navan area, we provided an Afrikaans interpreter within forty minutes and maintained that service until the case was complete.

    We are proud to have been involved with the recently launched Garda Siocanna booklet 'Your Police Service in Intercultural Ireland' which we translated into 8 languages.

• Temple Street Hospital:

  • This year (2007) we translated a selection of medical projects into a number of languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian and Urdu), again easily meeting the two week turnaround target. The word count here exceeded one hundred and fifty thousand.

• Refugee Legal Services:

  • We have provided translation services at very short notice into Tibetan.
